Much like its namesake, the Whiskey Barrel bedroom collection has an artisanal quality which makes its surroundings warm and inviting, with a style that improves over time. Crafted of knotty oak veneers and poplar solids, Whiskey Barrel is rendered in aged gray/brown finish or a darker roast finish, which is enhanced by a uniqe wire brushing and timeworn distressing process.The signatue piece is the sleigh bed, which is framed by wide, graceful posts capturing a bent panel. This panel is constructed of solid wood slats, which give the bed an honestly planked effect. The sleigh bed is available with either a traditional bent seigh footboard, or a highly functional storage platform footboard.Case pieces are generously scaled, with usefully proportioned bottom cedar lined drawers, featuring Elite series self-closing ball bearing drawer glides. Thick tops, wide pilasters, and bracket base rails frame the dresser, chest and night stand. Classic ring pulls, designed especially for this collection complete the look of the case pieces. The collection is rounded out by a beautiful landscape mirror with wide, mitered frames.
